How to Keep Wasps From Building Nests Around Your House (What Actually Helps)
I swear every spring the wasps start showing up before I’m mentally prepared for it 😅
One day everything is fine… and the next there’s suddenly a tiny nest starting under the porch, patio, or roof overhang.
I finally started looking into what actually helps because knocking down the same nests over and over gets old really fast.

Tiny starter nests are MUCH easier to deal with than fully established ones.
At this point I’ve basically started checking:
- porch corners
- patio ceilings
- lights
- railings
every few days once the weather warms up.

This one seems obvious…
but somehow wasps always know exactly where the drinks are 😅

- grilling areas
- outdoor tables

At this point I’m mostly focused on:
